Justice Joseph Mugo Kamau is expected to visit Geta Forest in Kipipiri on Friday, October 23, 2026, alongside all parties involved in the case. The orders affect both licensed and unlicensed timber dealers, with the Nyandarua County Police Commander and the County Conservator of Forests tasked with enforcing the directive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case was filed by Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia and voter Elijah Gachuki amid growing concerns over the destruction of the Aberdare water catchment area. Addressing the court, Muhia cited extensive logging, particularly at Geta Forest Block, as a threat to the environment. The case comes after residents and local leaders raised concerns over lorries transporting logs from the forest.
