Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka has arrived in London, United Kingdom, for meetings aimed at promoting investment and strengthening economic ties between Kenya and international partners. On Tuesday, October 13, he is expected to address Chatham House on the opposition’s policy priorities ahead of the 2027 General Election. According to Wiper spokesperson Ndegwa Njiru, the address will focus on the opposition’s vision for Kenya as the country prepares for the next polls.

During his visit, Kalonzo attended a reception at the House of Commons hosted by the Westminster Africa Business Group in partnership with the Eastern Africa Association. The event, hosted by Conservative MP Gavin Williamson, explored Kenya’s role as a regional financial centre and the development of East African capital markets. Speaking at the gathering, Kalonzo called for greater mobilisation of domestic resources alongside foreign investment to support Kenya’s economic development.
